LEADER TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES The Training Team have found it necessary to impose a closing date for course applications to enable them to ensure that the necessary level of resources are available for those attending each course. Leaders should send their application and money to arrive at least 4 weeks before the course This is an update on the Training Courses available to Leaders. Please apply for courses as soon as possible to avoid them being cancelled. Applications for any of the courses listed below should be put in now. Dates for 2012 are on the Regional website http://www.scouts-southwestscotland.org.uk/ . Skills Days / Module 17,18,19 Three skills days were planned which would cover modules 17,18 and 19 for leaders doing their training modules. We hope that leaders who have completed their training will also come and pick up some good ideas at the various bases as these skills days are not just for leaders doing their training. Skills Day / Module 17,18,19 September 3rd Galloway As there have been no applications for this course on 3rd September it has been cancelled. Anyone interested would be very welcome to attend the course at Culzean on 4th September or the weekend at St Ann's 2nd - 4th September. We hope to run the course in Dolphin House which is the outdoor centre run by South Ayrshire Council and is in the grounds of Culzean Country Park.
