Beaver Events List

 Lapwing Lodge Camp Staff are organising a Beaver Scout Fun Day. This year the event will take place on Sunday 21^st June at Lapwing Lodge, at a cost of £7 per head. The programme will start at 10.00am and finish at 3.30pm. 

The theme for the day this year will be Superheroes. We ask that all Beavers and Leaders try their best to get in the spirit of the event and come dressed as their favourite superheroes.

 

All Beaver Scouts will be in the care of their own leaders for the day, with camp staff organising and running bases and games for them. All Beaver Scouts should bring their own packed lunch, a change of clothes and waterproofs to accommodate for the infamous Scottish weather. The Leaders should also bring their own packed lunch, however, we will supply tea/coffee throughout the day.

 

The format of the day will be:

10am – 12pm            Beavers go round bases with leader. 

(There will be a badge awarded to all Beaver Scouts who take part in the Beaver Day.) 

12pm – 1pm               Break for lunch.

1pm – 3pm                 Back to bases.

3pm                             Camp fire & badge presentation.

3.30pm                        Home. 

 

Could you please let us know if you and your group wish to attend by confirming numbers by 20th May 2009. We also ask that this year money is paid in advance to Lapwing Lodge.
