The Cub Scout Scottish Challenge Badge aims to increase the awareness among Cub Scouts of their Scottish heritage though a variety of activities under six headings: Community, Fitness, Creative, Global, Outdoor and Adventure, and Beliefs and Attitudes.

Scottish-specific activities which Cubs will be able to take part in to help towards attaining the badge are walking a distance equivalent to the height of Ben Nevis, cooking and serving a traditional Scottish meal, visiting and reporting back on trips to National Trust for Scotland or Historic Scotland sites and designing materials to promote their local area.
