Gavin Ferguson, the Regions Duke of Edinburgh Award Adviser has asked me to email you all re the possibility of running a D of E Expedition Assessor Course.
Gavin has been approved to run these assessor course on behalf of the Scout Association.

Hi folks sorry for any double emails  but i think it would be beneficial
for you to have a copy of. the attached L77 document as this is the
guidance underwhich we operate all DofE training and expeditions  and are
the basis for the  bi annual inspections. The update version now incudes
the Walking Group leader qualification which is ideal for most dofe expeds
on moorland and the forest areas.

During the last few months there has been some discussion concerning the roles of Supervisor and Assessor for young people’s Duke of Edinburgh award practice and qualifying expeditions.  I would just like to clarify the Duke of Edinburgh rules, which must be adhered to, except in special circumstances which will require to be agreed in advance of any expedition.  Apologies to those of you who are already aware of all of this, I have sent this out to everyone involved with DofE to ensure we do not miss anyone out of our communication!
